Why plant a new church? Some may ask, “Don’t we have enough churches?”. Others may ask, “Why don’t we just fill up our existing churches?”. Let me share some reasons why we are planting a new church.

Church planting is in my blood.

The man who led me to Christ was a church planter.

I have a history of planting churches.

This will be my fourth time to plant a church.

We are losing ground in America.

New churches are more open to change.

My gifts and leadership style are more effective for a new church.

New churches are more effective reaching people for Christ.

A church will often reach more people in it's first four years than any other time

I must obey the calling and leading of the Holy Spirit.
